XCOR offers reductions on payload pricing

XCOR Aerospace : 23 May, 2013  (Company News)
Attendees of the NG Suborbital Researchers Conference can obtain privileged pricing on payload transportation booked with XCOR Aerospace

For the duration of the Next Generation Suborbital Researchers Conference in Broomfield, Colorado from June 3-5, 2013, XCOR Aerospace will offer a special 2-for-1 deal on all payload purchases by conference participants.

"We are excited to offer this unique opportunity to all participants at NSRC 2013," said XCOR Chief Operating Officer Andrew Nelson. "Experimenters are driven in part by the lower cost of suborbital flights and the significantly improved level and duration of high quality microgravity, exposure to the vacuum of space or the high reaches of our atmosphere.  Compared to sounding rockets, aircraft and drop towers, Lynx flights are dramatically less expensive, easier to integrate an experiment in to, and available on a more frequent basis. We hope this 2-for-1 offer at NSRC draws the proper attention to the Lynx and our industry's capabilities on a global basis."

With the pace of research about to increase dramatically, "We want to open that door for NSRC participants, to foster that next step into a new era of suborbital research," said XCOR's Director of Payload Sales and Operations, Khaki Rodway. "Today, suborbital payload flights are infrequent at best. What we love most about this opportunity is that for the first time in history, you will fly an experiment, get the results quickly, turn the experiment around and fly it again. This means you can modify and iterate a lot of experiments in a short window of time, and receive much more data in that compressed time frame.   That not been available at any price until now."

Fine print: This offer is for NSRC participants only, both for professional and student registrants. To redeem this offer, simply come to the XCOR booth at NSRC 2013, show your badge, sign up and receive a hand-signed coupon that is good for experiments flown one year after the Lynx Mark I starts scientific flights. Limit one coupon per participant. This 2-for-1 offer is based on XCOR-published retail prices for payloads.
