US Army logistics and support services contract

The US Army has awarded a global logistics and support services contract to Jacobs Engineering to include planning, analysis and life cycle management
US Army logistics and support services contract

Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded a contract to provide Global Logistics and Support Services (GLASS) to the US Army in Rock Island, Illinois. The award includes a base period of one year plus two one-year option periods. The contract has a maximum order limit of $135 million.

Under the terms of the GLASS contract, Jacobs is providing logistics, planning, analysis, acquisition, and life cycle management support services at Rock Island Arsenal and at other locations worldwide that support ongoing US contingency operations. This contract supports the Army Sustainment Command Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) as well as the Army Contracting Command–Rock Island LOGCAP and Reachback Division.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Norfleet stated, “We are delighted to continue our support to the US Army and to have the opportunity to partner with them in support of US contingency operations.”
