: 21 May, 2009  (New Product)
The U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, awarded ITT Corporation a contract to provide full range of base support services to Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. and the Gunter Annex. After successful resolution of a protest, the award is for a three month base period with five one-year options and has a total value of $350 million with all options exercised. Work will be performed by ITT Systems Division, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo.
'America's armed forces training bases form the foundation of our nation's ability to project power anywhere in the world. ITT's military base operations and logistics services provide a state of readiness critical to this mission.' stated Michael Gulino, president of ITT Systems Division. 'ITT stands arm-in-arm with the U.S. Air Force to support the success of this mission.'

The mission of the 42nd Airbase Wing at Maxwell AFB is to provide support to the Air & Space Expeditionary Forces, Air University and other base tenant organizations. As a partner with the wing, ITT will provide communications and IT services, engineering support, supply, transportation, facilities maintenance and operations, airfield management, weather services, emergency management and other services required to achieve the base's mission success. This award is a critical component to ITT's core capabilities in military base operations and logistics support services.
