TTI Signs Global Contract with FCI

TTI (Europe) : 23 February, 2005  (Company News)
TTI has signed a global contract with FCI, foremost supplier of connectors and interconnect systems. TTI can now service customers with FCI product regardless of the customers' locations on the globe.
'FCI is an integral part of the connector program at TTI,' commented Michael Knight, Vice President of Corporate Product Marketing at TTI. 'Our relationship and mutual mind share in North America is outstanding. This new global contract lays the foundation for an equally outstanding relationship between the companies in all regions of the world. And the timing could not be better. TTI's European and Asian operations are growing at a much faster rate than the market, and this contract helps ensure our FCI results are in line with the tremendous overall progress achieved by those operations.'

TTI previously had contracts with FCI in Asia, North America and Europe, but this is the first singular contract that spans the entire globe.' Over the past several years, we have been consolidating our network of distributors in order to become more efficient and easier to work with,' said FCI Vice President of Global Distribution CDC Division, Lou Lipomi. 'Partnering with TTI allows us to consolidate the number of distributors we work with, while simultaneously gaining a larger presence worldwide with a distributor known for strong relationships and overall customer satisfaction.'

'TTI was our fastest growing distributor in Europe last year and we are very impressed with their performance in Asia over the past several years. Their global presence and experience was a major factor in selecting TTI to represent us worldwide,' said Lipomi.

It is FCI's first global franchise with any distributor and marks a significant step in strengthening relationships with TTI and their joint customers worldwide. So far, the TTI-FCI relationship over the last ten years has coincided with double-digit growth for FCI in the Americas.
