TTI - World's Smallest Chip Common Mode Choke Coil

TTI Europe is supplying the world's smallest chip common mode choke coil DLP0NS for high-speed differential transmission line anti-noise suppression.
Manufactured by Murata, this product is smaller, thinner and lighter than its predecessor at 0.85x0.65x0.45mm in dimension, greatly contributing to high-density mounting for compact mobile equipments such as cellular phones and digital cameras. A coupling coefficient of over 0.98 has been realised to suppress differential mode impedance for the signal passage band causing degradation in signal waveforms, to a low level. Furthermore, alignment against characteristic impedance of the transmission line suppresses input signal reflection, enabling the removal of common mode noise alone without affecting high-speed signal waveforms.

Three items with common mode impedance of 67, 90 and 120Ω (typical value at 100MHz) are available in the line-up to allow for a wide range of selections according to applications.

The DLPONS series is fully compliant with the forthcoming RoHS regulation and suitable for use in applications such as noise suppression at high-speed differential transmission lines (USB2.0, IEEE1394, LVDS, DVI, HDMI, etc.) for compact mobile equipments including digital still cameras, video cameras, cellular phones, PDAs and laptop PCs.
