Teledyne TSS is attending MAST Americas in June to demonstrate its range of marine navigation equipment and subsea cabling systems
Teledyne TSS will be exhibiting at MAST Americas, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Washington DC, USA, from the 22nd to the 24th June 2010

Teledyne TSS has over a century of experience in the design and manufacture of marine navigation equipment, gyrocompasses and steering controls, together with a world renowned range of high-tech, accurate sensors for heading and motion measurement, and subsea pipe and cable survey and detection.

Teledyne TSS will be exhibiting its subsea Orion product at this show the Orion Subsea is rated as standard to 3000 metres but is also available for work at 6000 metres where it brings all of the advantages of a dependable and competitively priced reference system able to provide precise attitude, heading and heave data. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications such as supporting multibeam sonar surveys or the construction of major seabed installations while also benefitting users with minimal downtime.

Teledyne TSS will be exhibiting at MAST Americas alongside their US counterpart, Teledyne RD Instruments, on Stand No; 31.

Teledyne RD Instruments are currently providing Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) to assist both BP and the National Response Team to respond to the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico, by measuring the speed and direction of the currents for the entire water column around the accident area. Teledyne is also working with Horizon Marine to survey with the use of vessels, to measure the size of the plume, and help model when and where the oil slick will go.
