Military electric equipment supplier adds Sixnet Rugged Ethernet Switches to its Zero-Base Inventory program serving the defence and aerospace markets
A E Petsche and Sixnet have announced an agreement naming Petsche as a worldwide distributor for Sixnet to the Defence/Aerospace Markets. Sixnet is a supplier of high performance Rugged Ethernet switches. A E Petsche will stock these products in its warehouse locations worldwide. These products are used in a wide range of applications including military and commercial aircraft, ground based vehicles, battlefield communication & shipboard systems.

Scott Killian, Connectivity Division Manager for Sixnet said, “This is a terrific partnership which combines A E Petsche’s outstanding logistics and customer service capabilities, along with engineering and product expertise available from the Sixnet factory.” Sixnet is based in Ballston Lake, NY.

A E Petsche supplies aviation and military interconnect products, including wire and cable, harness management products, and connectors. Glenn Davidson, CEO for A E Petsche says, “Our customers depend on us to be solution providers. By adding Sixnet to our product range we are addressing an area that challenges many of our customers as they continue to add complexity to their electronic & interconnect systems.” A E Petsche will offer both standard and customized solutions available from Sixnet and intends to offer these products through its widely recognized Zero-Base Inventory Program, which assures customers reliable material flow and consistent quality.
