PT6A Engine Customer Days held in Kenya and Australia

Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic recently hosted two very successful PT6A Customer Day events at its Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) in Brisbane, Australia and also at its service centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The events, which were held in mid November, were facilitated by Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC).

"These events give us a chance to reconnect in a meaningful way with our customers, who are the core of our business," says Jeff Poirier, president of ES-A. “Attendees are given the opportunity to learn more about the PT6A turboprop engine and meet with true turboprop experts. We were very fortunate to have a representative from P&WC’s customer service team, along with members from Vector’s team on hand during both events.”

“Capital Airlines Limited wishes to thank ES-A for organizing a very informative and interesting Customer Day for PT6A engine operators in Nairobi,” says Capt. Himat Vaghela, owner and managing director of Capital Airlines Limited, who attended the Customer Day event in Nairobi. “The inclusion of P&WC and Blackhawk Modifications added great value to the proceedings. We have a long standing relationship with ES-A relating to overhauls and repairs of our Kingair-200 -41 engines. They have provided exceptional service, support and cost effective solutions that cater to our requirements."

ES-A’s facility in Nairobi offers field service and engine line maintenance Services on the P&WC PT6A and PW100 engine series. ES-A’s Brisbane location meanwhile is a  P&WC Designated Overhaul Facility(DOF) for the PT6A family of engines which also offers mobile repair team (MRT) support for a range of additional P&WC powerplants.

Vector Aerospace holds approvals from some of the world's leading turbine engine, airframe and avionics OEMs. Engine products supported include a wide range of Pratt & Whitney Canada, General Electric, Honeywell,  Rolls-Royce and Turbomeca, (all engine lines include complete test capability).  Vector Aerospace also provides support for a wide range of airframes from AgustaWestland, Boeing, Eurocopter and Sikorsky, including major inspections and dynamic component overhaul, and offers full-service avionics capability, including complete aircraft rewire plus glass cockpit engineering, development and integration.
