Glimmerglass Networks : 04 June, 2010  (Company News)
Glimmerglass Networks executives attending ISS World Europe with presentations on the monitoring of fibre-optic communication links without signal disruption
Glimmerglass Networks is attending ISS World Europe 2010, the largest gathering of European law enforcement, intelligence, defence, homeland security analysts and telecom operators responsible for lawful interception, electronic investigations and network intelligence gathering.

“A growing majority of the world’s Internet, data, voice and video traffic flows over fibre optic networks, presenting new challenges for governments conducting activities to combat crime and terrorism,” said Bernd Schilp, Glimmerglass Vice President of Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). “All major countries are racing to meet lawful interception demands. Glimmerglass optical solutions are being used to centrally manage and cost-effectively monitor fibre optic communications without disrupting traffic.”

Addressing intelligence, telecommunications and law enforcement experts responsible for lawful interception, electronic investigations and network intelligence gathering, Jeff Zindel, Glimmerglass Vice President of Marketing, will participate in the Guru Panel covering Lawful Interception for New IP Services “Best Practices”. Mr Zindel and Mr Schilp will also be discussing Cost Effective, Flexible Network Interception and Monitoring Solutions.

Mr Schilp has also been asked to present ‘The Evolving Service Provider Landscape and its impact on managing Network Intercepts’ during the pre-conference seminars and tutorials for LEA’s, Intelligence Analysts, Telecoms and ISS vendors.
