New members join MoD project partnership

Niteworks is pleased to confirm that another two companies, CAE (UK) plc and Intelligence Management Support Services (IMSL) Limited, have joined the partnership.

CAE (UK) plc is part of CAE, a global company headquartered in Canada employing approximately 8,000 people at more than 100 sites around the world.

CAE provides simulation products, training services and training systems integration expertise to global defence and security forces. In the UK, it operates the Medium Support Helicopter Aircrew Training Facility (MSHATF) at RAF Benson, delivering synthetic training for Chinook, Merlin and Puma aircrew.

Ian Bell, CAE’s Vice President and Regional Business Leader – Europe & Africa, said: "CAE is committed to becoming the partner of choice for customers operating in complex, mission critical environments such as defence and security, so we are pleased to join Niteworks to collaborate in helping the Ministry of Defence leverage simulation-based solutions that enhance current and future capabilities.”

New associate IMSL is an intelligence and data analytics specialist. Supporting organisations in both the public and private sectors, it combines intelligence domain expertise with the latest technology developments to rapidly drive out exploitable results.

From generating a single intelligence report, to providing training courses, embedding expert personnel or undertaking an enterprise wide capability project, IMSL helps organisations address traditional and contemporary challenges in intelligence, such as ‘big data’, Open Source Intelligence, social media, and the fusion of multi-layered sources.

Andy Green, CEO at IMSL said: “I am delighted that IMSL has been accepted as an Associate Member of the Niteworks Defence framework. I look forward to collaborating within the Enterprise, through delivery of our respected and impartial services, to further enhance Niteworks’ value to the UK MOD’s acquisition and operational programmes. I see this as a great opportunity for the IMSL team to make a significant contribution to MOD’s decision support environment.”

Confirming Niteworks’ new associates, Samantha Page, Head of Commercial / Partnering at Niteworks said: “Niteworks has a vibrant portfolio of projects which it is currently undertaking on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in the training, simulation and intelligence domains. We are delighted to welcome CAE and IMSL on board and look forward to them contributing their expertise to these critical areas of defence.”
