KME - 46' Display - Latest Large Format Tested at -40C

Kent Modular Electronics (KME) : 11 September, 2007  (New Product)
KME has announced they have tried and tested their latest large format 46' display at temperatures as low as –40degC. The latest low temperature range is ideal for use in public information displays and digital signage and comes with IP65 sealing as standard to withstand dust and moisture making it ideal for sheltered locations. The rating can be improved to IP67, if specified, for the more demanding environments.
The latest low temperature developments are a welcome addition to KMEs enhanced widescreen displays. In standard sizes of 32', 40' and 46', a selection of the monitors can be developed with KMEs new transflective and optically bonded glass system, Heliobond. Heliobond eliminates the effects of the suns glare on screen by utilising a transflective enhancement to enable the monitor to be used in outdoor or ambient light conditions providing near perfect display with marine-fit protection.

Utilising WXGA TFT panels with KME designed mechanical enhancements; the large format series of LCD monitors give superior image performance and ruggedness suitable for all monitor display requirements. They provide widescreen (16:9) formats up to WXGA resolution enabling high brightness and wide viewing angles. Controls are provided via remote control and the AC power supply is integrated in the rear of the unit to protect against tampering and vandalism.

Established in 1976, KME design and manufacture a complete range of approved LCD-TFT and CRT monitors for the worldwide market. With a reputation built on the production of solid and reliable products for demanding environmental conditions, KME have developed an expanding range of standard and custom LCD-TFT monitors and flat-panel PC's that are ideal for industrial, marine, transport and military markets
