Alelo Inc’s Innovation Showcase presentation will be delivered by Dr Lewis Johnson, the company’s President and chief scientist. It will feature Alelo’s new ALT-VBS2 language and culture enhancement plug-in for mission rehearsal training software, together with the web-based virtual cultural awareness trainer programme featuring tailored task-based training, focused on mission area and country of deployment.

Antycip Simulation will be launching a new product for the configuration of high fidelity models in computer generated forces (CGFs) for air, sea and land applications. This COTS product will include multiple modelling toolkits (MTKs), including Fixed Wing Fighter (FWF), Electronic warfare Suite (EWS) and UAVs. The company will also present its solution for terrain generation, including MAK's GEMS concept and TerraSim new exporter for VBS2. Trian3D builder and Blueberry3D will also be showcased. Also new at ITEC are solutions for IR and Radar visualisation, integrated with multiple visualisation tools including VR-Vantage and Open Scene Graph (OSG). At the Innovation Showcase Antycip will demonstrate Network Centric Warfare (NCW) and Live Virtual Constructive (LVC), using high fidelity models within MAK's VR-Forces CGF. Antycip will also be presenting a paper on terrain generation and terrain formats at the ITEC conference.

Safe and realistic training for IED attack and urban situations is being featured by AP Services. The highly versatile solution enables training for a broad spectrum of IED threats, including tripwire, pressure, pressure-release, remote (up to 1 mile) and electrically initiated. The visual part of the simulation is provided by cool smoke™, a talc based product which both gives a realistic smoke effect and is very safe to use. The pressure needed for the detonation is supplied by either 12g CO2 cartridges or 1800PSI high pressure air and a plastic/rubber burst disc technology.

CAE will be featuring technology and capability demonstrations of the Common Database (CDB) and CAE Medallion-6000 visual system; CAE INFRONT 3D forward observation training; Integrated learning management and training solutions; and the CAE GESI constructive simulation system. The Common Database (CDB) specification is an open synthetic environment database specification for producing a unified synthetic representation of the world. The demonstration will show multiple simulation clients, including the out-the-window visual, radar and computer-generated forces, fulfilling their requirements while run-time publishing from a single CDB.

The DiSTI Corporation, a global leader in Human Machine Interface (HMI) development has announced the release of GL Studio 4.0. This features numerous product enhancements geared at greater ease-of-use and productivity for the developer, higher performance of the deployed application, and better overall value to the customer.

New from domeprojection is the the latest version of its sophisticated auto-alignment tools, which represent the most flexible hardware/software toolset on the market. Being fully multivendor capable, it can be integrated into any projection system regardless of the projection technology used.

IP Video Systems is co-exhibiting with business partners’ Plexsys Interface Products. IP will be showing its Enhanced Mission Record and Review System (EMRRS) which has begun its deployment in Combat Air Force – Distributed Mission Operation (CAF-DMO) for live and training events. Live demonstrations will be given throughout the show.

MSE Weibull will be celebrating winning a contract from Saab Bofors Dynamics to update its top-of-the-line RBS70 GBAD trainer. The system embraces simulator stand, sight and computers with fully integrated electronics, all ready for software installation. MSE Weibull has also received a contract from Saab to update its top-of-the-line RBS70 GBAD trainer.

Nexter Training is presenting its GVT® training tool, an integrated package that provides training in the operation, maintenance and diagnostic areas of complex and/or sophisticated systems. Flexible and upgradeable, GVT® provides high added value and facilitates the acquisition of both knowledge and expertise in basic, operation & maintenance and diagnostic training.

VSTEP will be featuring Ship Simulator Professional, a low-cost highly realistic software product that is now used by naval academies and maritime professionals worldwide. The company will also be displaying virtual incident management software, RescueSim.

ITEC takes place from 12 to 14 May 2009 at the BrusselsExpo, Brussels, Belgium.
