Icore - 3175 PTFE Hose

Icore International : 27 February, 2007  (New Product)
Designed specifically for medium pressure, low temperature aerospace fluid transfer applications in non-fire zones, the latest Parker Stratoflex 3175 PTFE hose from Parker Hannifin Corporation, Stratoflex Products Division, which is supplied in the UK by Icore International, combines small bending radius with lightweight yet robust construction.
Offering unlimited shelf life and compatibility with most fluids commonly used in the aerospace industry, this versatile hose is used by Icore International as the basis of complete assemblies which are designed and manufactured to meet the exact requirements of the user.

Parker Stratoflex 3175 hose is available in five sizes with internal diameters from 2.79mm to 9.93mm, all of which feature three-layer construction.

The inner layer is a seamless extruded smooth-bore tube which is fabricated from conductive PTFE to minimise static electricity discharge effects. This is overlaid by a corrosion-resistant steel wire braid for reinforcement, and a top layer of black Cordura™ braid which provides the hose with its outstanding abrasion resistance.

The hose is qualified in accordance with the applicable requirements of HS3175 and tested in line with AS2078. It has an operating temperature range of -54º to + 135ºC. Operating pressures range from 1,000 psi (68 bar) to 2,000 psi (136 bar) depending on the size of the hose.
