Gichner Shelter Systems, a division of Gichner Systems Group, and a world leader in the design, development and production of tactical and logistic shelters and shelter systems has announced that it has been awarded the contract to provide Army Standard Family 20 foot ISO shelters to the US Army. These shelters are used by the Army for multiple purposes including repair and maintenance facilities, communications systems, command posts, hospitals, and kitchens.
At the estimated quantity of 75 shelters per year, the contract is worth approximately $50 million.
