Northrop Grumman has placed further orders on LaBarge for electronic assemblies to be used on fire control radar systems on the F-16 fighter
LaBarge has received a $1.5 million contract from Northrop Grumman to continue to produce electronic assemblies for the fire control radar system of the F-16 fighter aircraft. LaBarge has supported the program since 2003.

The AN/APG-68 fire control radar provides multiple modes, including long-range, all-aspect detection and tracking, simultaneous multiple target tracking and high-resolution ground mapping. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor for the F-16 aircraft.

Production on the contract at LaBarge's Huntsville, Ark., facility is expected to begin in December 2010 and continue through May 2011.
