Executive VP Takes Seat At Dynamic Aviation

Aviation company promotes from within to fill the role of vice president of flight operations
Dynamic Aviation has promoted its vice president of flight operations, Aaron Lorson, to executive vice president.

“Aaron joined Dynamic Aviation as a pilot and has continued to excel and contribute to the company’s growth and success,” said Michael Stoltzfus, president and CEO of Dynamic Aviation. “His dedication, leadership skills and unparalleled knowledge of flight operations has made him an invaluable member of our team, and we believe he will continue to excel in his new role as executive vice president.”

Lorson joined Dynamic Aviation in 1999 as a pilot and most recently served as vice president of flight operations. In this role he was responsible for leading worldwide flight operations in addition to overseeing human resources, safety and security companywide. In his 11 years with Dynamic Aviation, Lorson has held several other positions with the company, including chief pilot and director of flight operations.

“I look forward to taking on this new position,” said Lorson. “Since my start with the company, I have seen Dynamic Aviation emerge as an innovative leader in the aviation solutions industry and I am honoured to have a stronger role in helping the company achieve its mission and business objectives.”

Lorson earned his bachelor’s degree in aviation technology and flight from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. He graduated with honours and was recognized as outstanding flight graduate of the year.

Dynamic Aviation has a 75-year legacy of providing aviation solutions to help government and commercial customers meet special-mission requirements. The company has one of the largest privately owned Beechcraft King Air fleets in the world and modifies those planes into customized aircraft to support the US departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defence and the Interior; state and local governments; and private industry with a wide array of special-mission solutions, including ISR, airborne data acquisition, fire management, aerial application and sterile insect technique.
