Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in /home/defensef/public_html/components/com_zone/handleHTML.php on line 623
: 24 May, 2010  (New Product)
The Surfcam CAD/CAM system is being demonstrated at the Eastec 2010 manufacturing exhibition including new functionality in version 5
Surfware, developer of Surfcam CAD/CAM systems, will demonstrate its complete range of CAD/CAM Solutions in Surfcam V5 at Eastec 2010, “The East Coast’s Largest Annual Manufacturing Event.' The event will be held at the Eastern States Exposition located in West Springfield, MA from May 25th to 27th. Surfcam will be exhibited in the Better Living Centre at booth 5323.

“In addition to showing all the new features and functionality in Surfcam V5, which was released in February, we will also demonstrate some of the up and coming features and enhancements to be available in Surfcam V5.1,” says Peter Marton, Vice President of Surfware. Some of the new features and functionality in the release of Surfcam V5.1 include:

* STL Machining capabilities
* Multiple Tool and Rest Machining in Truemill
* 64-Bit Toolpath Verification
* Enhanced Parasolids Integration with Assemblies
* Plus much more...

Surfcam continues to provide powerful associativity to SolidWorks users in opening native SolidWorks files directly into Surfcam, completely eliminating the translation process. Surfcam automatically recognizes any design revisions in the solid model and offers to regenerate only affected toolpaths. With this seamless interoperability, Surfcam users can quickly adapt to design changes.

Surfcam technicians will be demonstrating Surfcam’s new features and enhancements throughout the duration of the event.
