4DSP Inc - New processes for software defined radio development

Software defined radio (SDR) application development can now be much shorter thanks to the new AD350 PMC expansion card from 4DSP. Created for use in wireless base stations and MIMO test-bed systems applications, the AD350 is the ideal prototyping system and already is significantly shortening waveform development for software defined radios in the United States JTRS (Joint Tactical Radio System) programme and WNM–SiS (Signals in Space).
 
PAR system completed acceptance tests for Brazilian Air Force

The Canadian Department of National Defence has selected Rockwell Collins to provide Sub-Net Relay Controllers (SNC-2050), High Speed Modems (HSM-2050) and Very High Speed Modems (VHSM-3000) for the Sub-Net Relay (SNR) program. The contract is valued at $7 million.

The depot supports repairs on LANTIRN pods for both U.S. Air Force and foreign military sales customers.

The system, to be supplied by Elbit Systems' wholly owned subsidiary, Elbit Systems Electro-optics El-Op Ltd., is to be installed aboard a variety of commercial aircraft owned by Israeli commercial airlines.

Sectra has been commissioned by FMV, the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration, to further develop the Tiger system used by the Swedish Defense Forces for encrypted telephony. The solution being developed in cooperation with FMV will enable peacekeeping forces to communicate in a secure manner directly between headquarters and troops in the field. The order value amounts to SEK 13 million.
