Atlantic Inertial Systems of Plymouth UK were delighted to read that Raytheon Company fired two precision-guided projectiles from a Paladin gun system during the first guided flight test of the Raytheon Excalibur Ib program.

AIS has been awarded a contract worth USD5M to supply the Control Indicator Unit (CIU) and associated spares for Northrop Grumman's AAQ-24 system. The CIU provides the interface between the AAQ-24 system and the aircrew operating the aircraft.

Following the successful completion of the design, qualification and initial production deliveries, Atlantic Inertial Systems (AIS) has received a production order from Diehl BGT Defence GmbH worth circa $3m, for the second batch of its SiARS Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Inertial measurement Unit for the US/German Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM).
