U.S. Navy Awards $27 Million Contract to SAIC

Company to Provide Information Technology Services in Support of the Naval Enterprise Network in Europe and the Middle East
Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Navy to provide the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station -- Atlantic with OCONUS (outside continental U.S.) Naval Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) information technology support services for the Europe and Middle East regions. The contract has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options and a total value of more than $27 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Naples, Italy, and Manama, Bahrain.

ONE-NET gives users at a single integrated network, providing centralized information assurance, intrusion detection, and monitoring. Under the contract, SAIC will provide operation and maintenance support for ONE-NET, Command and Control, Coalition, and legacy network systems. SAIC will also provide migration support for legacy networks.
