Science Applications International Corporation has been awarded a Simulation and Training Omnibus Contract (STOC II) by the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). SAIC will provide simulation, training and instrumentation services and products to Army and Department of Defense customers worldwide. This ten year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a two year base period of performance and three option ordering periods with a total ceiling value of $17.5 billion for all awardees.

PEO STRI provides interoperable simulation, training, and testing solutions and acquisition services to support military and civilian agencies. Under the contract, SAIC will perform a full range of life cycle management to include front end analysis, design, development, fielding, and sustainment of training and testing systems, instrumentation, and gaming system simulators.

'SAIC has a long history of support to this important customer,' said Beverly Seay, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. 'We look forward to continuing to deliver innovative training capabilities to the Armed Forces.'
