Incom from Ukraine will distribute the Iscon 1000D whole body imaging system and GameChangeIR portable scanner for use at high security installations in Eastern Europe
Iscon Video Imaging has signed a distribution agreement with a Ukrainian distributor of security equipment, Incom, to provide sales and support for its new, patented scanner systems.

Incom will sell Iscon’s newly introduced screening equipment to government facilities, airports and corporations. Iscon’s Whole Body Imaging System Model 1000D and the portable version the Iscon GameChangeIR, were recently demonstrated at a government security conference. The event was attended by senior government officials in charge of facility security for airports, train stations, customs and border agencies, stadiums and clubs.

The GameChangeIR only shows objects and clothing without any harmful radiation. It will reveal the thermal imprint of any material -- plastic, paper, wood, ceramics, powder as well as metal. Its infrared rays don’t scan under clothing, which eliminates privacy issues. However, it is more effective than an X-Ray machine detecting objects hidden in “sensitive” hiding places.

“The Iscon systems have a significant advantage since there are no privacy issues and the equipment doesn’t’ emit radiation,” says Maria Shmatko, VP Sales & Service of Incom. 'With the European Soccer Championship taking place in the Ukraine in 2010, this technology will answer many government concerns about security.'

“European countries are seeking to maximize security while minimizing privacy concerns and our technology solves both issues,” explains Izrail Gorian. “This Ukrainian distribution agreement and demonstration further validate that the international market is interested in an alternative to invasive, radiation emitting scanner technologies being deployed today.”

The GameChangeIR can be packed up in a suitcase and deployed at different locations to add an important random element to an organization’s security strategy, while keeping its costs low.

The GameChangeIR consists of an imaging display terminal as well as the specially designed infrared scanner and platform for people to be checked. The system’s power requirements can easily be adapted using converters or necessary transformers.

The patented, proprietary Iscon system is also available in a larger whole body scanner portal, Iscon 1000D, for use in commercial security areas. A complete scan and detection takes 30 seconds so people can quickly move through security areas.
