Sunnex has announced that its Sunnex HS Series will be used by the United States Army to provide task lighting in HMMWVs and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The U.S. Army will install nearly 1,400 HS lamps in these vehicles, which provide protected battlefield transport for infantry squads. In Sweden the HS Series is military mounted in submarines, Combat Boat 90 and Combat Vehicle 9040.
The selected light is a military standard version of HS Series task lamps, designed to withstand the harshest of demanding conditions. The HS Series delivers a focused halogen illumination, flexibility and ease-of-use in a compact, space saving design that enables versatility in mounting.

The flexible and strong gooseneck arm withstands vibrations and keeps the arm in place. The arm is also housed within a scratch-resistant PUR sleeve, which provides protection from dust, moisture and oil.

Sunnex task lights offer a host of additional features, including a quick disconnect lamp head for mobility, various application-specific filters and mounting configurations.

HS Series lamps feature a 20W halogen light source that produces a bright white work light, while providing longer life and energy efficiency.
