C4 Systems’ TVE software is now available for certain HP desktop and laptop computers enabling simultaneous access across multiple domains, security levels and operating systems
TVE software by General Dynamics C4 Systems is now available on HP business-class desktop and notebooks starting with the HP Compaq 8000 Elite business PC for government customers. TVE enables users to simultaneously see and work with information classified at various security levels on a single computer. A 'green' technology option, TVE reduces the size, weight and power costs associated with multiple computer systems dedicated to a specific level of security or domain.

John Cole, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics C4 Systems for Information Assurance for said, 'We always look for opportunities to combine commercial products with our information assurance technologies to save on system costs, reduce operating complexity and, whenever possible, contribute to global 'green' initiatives.'

'HP has worked closely with General Dynamics to support the development of their TVE solution on HP PCs that is ideally suited for the federal government's security requirements,' said Thomas Kenny, Vice President, Public Sector Volume Sales, Personal Systems Group for HP. 'HP business PCs combined with TVE software constitute a cost-effective and efficient system for government customers who work with different levels of classified material every day.'

The HP Compaq 8000 Elite business PC is engineered for business computing environments where stable hardware and software are essential to an organization's information technology plan.
