Service planning system adopted for in-flight entertainment systems

MCA Solutions is supplying Service Planning and Optimisation Software to Panasonic Avionics to improve the company’s ability to provide service scheduling services to its in-flight entertainment customers
Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a supplier of state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment and communications (IFEC) systems, has selected MCA Solutions’ award-winning Service Planning and Optimization (SPO) technology after an evaluation of service parts planning solutions.


“Uptime and availability of our in-flight entertainment equipment is incredibly important for Panasonic Avionics Corporation. It is important to deliver the best possible service to our commercial airline clients,” said Matthew Smith, Vice President of Operations at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. “We will be implementing MCA’s SPO to effectively plan and place spare parts throughout our worldwide maintenance support network.”

MCA has spent nearly a decade working with Aerospace industry leaders, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Navy.
