: 02 June, 2010  (New Product)
FLIR Systems is attending the Eurosatory event in Paris with a wide range of infrared personal imaging systems for use in military applications
FLIR Systems is continuing to broaden its product portfolio with the inclusion of a full Soldier Solutions family of systems. The company will showcase handheld and weapon sight solutions at the forthcoming Eurosatory event in Paris including:

* Solution Flexibility: With the launch of Soldier Solutions, FLIR Systems offers an inventory of battery powered, tactical sensors from sights to scopes to binoculars. Adaptability and mobility continue to be a large focus as the company continues to dedicate research to providing the most practical EO/IR solutions to support a host of critical needs.

* Recon M: FLIR Systems will debut a pair of uncooled infrared monocular sensors that will give users a low-cost, light-weight, and high-performance pocket scope sensor that can be either handheld or mounted as a weapon sight.

* Image Intensified (I2) Products: With the recent acquisition of OmniTech Partners, Inc. (now FLIR Systems Pittsburgh), a leading developer and manufacturer of weapon-mounted I2 sensors, FLIR Systems now provides the ability to merge I2 night vision with infrared (thermal) imaging. This partnership leads way to a future of multi-spectral night vision by combining the two technologies in a dual-band format.

* Force Protection: FLIR Systems is the world’s largest supplier of force protection sensors and continues to set the standards in EO/IR technology, whether on manned or unmanned vehicles or a fixed-mount site. Thousands of systems are currently in operational use providing military and border security and surveillance with the most effective coverage in the harshest conditions including both Iraq and Afghanistan.
