Flight Simulation Company (FSC)
: 25 April, 2008  (Company News)
FSC has announced it will set up a simulator training centre at Berlin-Schönefeld. The simulator training centre will be brand new and will be based on the concept of FSC’s training centre at Amsterdam-Schiphol. FSC has acquired land for the training centre close to Berlin’s future main airport Berlin Brandenburg International (BBI).
The training centre will be able to accommodate up to twelve full flight simulators and has a dedicated area for cabin crew training facilities. The core of FSC’s simulator fleet in Berlin will exist of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 NG full flight simulators as well as other commercial and business aviation simulators.

“We see a growing demand for simulator capacity and crew training and Berlin fits perfect in our picture to serve our existing and future customers” said Capt. Bob van Balen, managing director of FSC.

The training centre is expected to be fully operational by mid 2009 with the installation of the first full flight simulators.

FSC is an independent provider of simulator capacity, crew training, pilot provisioning as well as simulator leasing services and consultancy to commercial airlines and simulator operators. From its twelve-bay simulator training centre at Amsterdam-Schiphol, FSC serves over fifty commercial airlines with its concept of high quality, cost effectiveness and customer focus.
