Marshall Land Systems
: 12 November, 2008  (Application Story)
Over 140 Land Rovers are being repainted in military livery with specialist paint by Marshall SV (MSV), the Cambridge based specialist vehicle and shelter designers, following the award of an Urgent Requirement Contract.
The new vehicles were ordered by NAMSA (NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency) from Land Rover who placed the £200,000 urgent painting contract on MSV.

“MSV’s experience in dealing with Urgent Operational Requirements and military vehicles together with the capacity in our facilities has allowed us to process this contract with minimal disruption to other work,” said Tim Otter, Future Business Director at Marshall SV. “The company has gained a reputation for responding rapidly to customer requirements and delivering quality solutions and the award of this contract reflects this” he added.

The first Land Rover was delivered to Marshall SV’s paint shop facility in Cambridge two months ago where all the preparation, painting and finishing work was carried out before delivery to the customer. The last vehicle is due for delivery by the end of the year.
