LOLA GROUP AT THE 2007 DSEI
The Lola Group will make their first ever official appearance at DSEI 2007 (Defence Systems & Equipment International) show next week.

The world's most prestigious defence exhibition begins next Tuesday and runs through until Friday 14th September. The Lola Group has forged a burgeoning reputation in recent years for its emergence as a provider of specialist technology to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Renowned as a winner on the track in global motorsport competition, Lola is now showing the multi-faceted aspects to its business that are providing advanced composite to a host of industries. Lola will be showcasing some of its most recent projects at the DSEI show, including an example of the EADS-Astrium SCOT Radome, a ‘Flydrive' communications dish built for Advent, a model of the BAE systems Talisman UUV (Un-manned underwater vehicle) and one of the latest Banshee UAV's (Un-manned aircraft vehicle, co-designed and built by Lola Composites for Meggitt Defence.



Altanet Technology has been the defence and communications arm of the Lola Group since 1998. Operating from separate premises to the Lola Composites and Car divisions, Altanet has forged a strong reputation as a high grade composites engineering company, specialising in the defence and communications sectors. In the Transferring of Best Practice category, Altanet was recently awarded the Silver Award by the BAE Business Chairman's Awards Panel for work undertaken on the Talisman UUV. With ambitious plans to increase its productivity and expand its portfolio of working with some of the world's most prestigious defence, communications and marine companies in place, Altanet is fast becoming a growing force within many industries.
