Harwin
: 26 July, 2010  (New Product)
Harwin is using the Military Vehicles Exhibition and Conference in Michigan to demonstrate its range of rugged connectors designed for high reliability applications as encountered in the military vehicle industry
Harwin will demonstrate the suitability of its Datamate range of rugged connectors for use in defence equipment at the upcoming Military Vehicles Exhibition and Conference, 10-13th August, Cobbo Convention Centre, Detroit, Michigan.

A 2mm pitch cable to cable, cable to board and board to board connector family, Datamate is enabling designers of today’s military vehicle and other defence equipment to save space, weight and cost without compromising performance. Recent innovations include Datamate Mix-Tek – which allows the designer to configure signal (up to 3A0, power (to 20A) and coax (to 6GHz) contacts in one compact package – and Datamate Trio-Tek, the first hi-rel connector contact that can be auto crimped saving time and cost.

Comments Steve Kalbach, Harwin’s Mid-west Regional Sales Manager: “Military vehicles demand ultra-reliability, and Datamate has been proven many times in harsh conditions, where shock, vibration and extremes of temperature are routinely experienced.”
