General Dynamics to Support NAVAIR Program Offices
Combined total contract value is $90 million over five years if all options are exercised

Fairfax, Va. - The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has selected General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), to provide acquisition logistics support to the F/A-18 Program Director for Logistics, the H-53 Assistant Program Manager for Logistics and H-60 Assistant Program Manager of Logistics. The total value of these three contracts if all options are exercised is approximately $90 million over five years.

These awards continue the acquisition logistics support that General Dynamics has been providing for the past six years under the AIR 3.1 Omnibus Logistics Contract. General Dynamics employees will perform this work at NAVAIR locations in Huntsville, Ala.; Lemoore and North Island, Calif.; Panama City, Fla.; Patuxent River, Md.; Cherry Point, N.C.; Philadelphia; and Norfolk, Va.

'These contracts speak to the success of General Dynamics as the primary logistics support contractor for the Navy's largest aviation program,' said Al Whitmore, senior vice president for Navy/Air Force Systems, General Dynamics Information Technology. 'These contracts, which were finalized this summer, confirm the strength of our partnership and validate our success in providing logistics support to NAVAIR during the past six years.'

NAVAIR provides total life cycle support of all naval aviation weapon systems including research, design, test and evaluation, training facilities, equipment and logistics support.
