PSL DataTrack
: 22 September, 2008  (New Product)
A new version of DataTrack, the leading production software for batch and subcontract manufacture, has been released by PSL DataTrack. Packed with many unique and cost-saving features, DataTrack v3.5.0 raises the bar for production control systems for manufacturers of make-to-order items for sub-contract or OEM supplies.

Through collaboration with its users, PSL has introduced a number of application enhancements and new features, bringing greater flexibility and productivity to business practices. Compatibility with Windows Vista is guaranteed and new modules have been introduced to broaden the scope of DataTrack within the organisation.

A new Purchase Invoicing module allows rapid entry of multiple items and aids both purchasing and accounts departments to quickly reconcile purchase invoices. Identified as a major area of lost time and added cost, this process can otherwise be time consuming and result in incorrect payments for goods or services that do not accurately reflect what is actually received at the agreed price.

Bar coding is now a standard function within DataTrack for faster, more reliable data collection and shop floor material allocation. Other items, such as delivery labels, can also be catered for. A greater array of import and export options has been added, with purchase invoices, invoices and credit notes now able to be exported to Sage, Opera II and EDI formats.

PSL DataTrack's web site contains a full briefing on all aspects of the latest version and details how each modification can benefit manufacturing organisations.
