Far East Distribution Deal For Halo Marine Barrier Systems
Marine barrier manufacturers Halo Defence Systems, Mass, USA has appointed 5G International, Florida as their agents for the Far East.

5G International is a manufacturer of Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) and cooperates with Halo offering Layered Defence Solutions to protect coastal and offshore assets against terrorist attack. When the barrier is used in conjunction with USVs, it provides a measured response to marine threats.

Successful demonstrations and tests earlier this year, at an undisclosed location, proved the effectiveness of the floating barrier against intruders. In a simulated seaborne attack and attempt to penetrate the barrier, the boat was totally destroyed while the Halo floating barrier remained intact and undamaged.

Crash Boat: ~12m remote controlled target drone with single, 187 kW Mercury 250 outboard.
Estimated impact speed: 35+ kts.
Barrier: A 9m test section from Halo Defence Systems
