Fanless Rugged Embedded Computer
Axiomtek has introduced the eBOX621-831-FL compact-type fanless embedded computer with a 9V to 34V wide-range DC power input for rugged and space-critical industrial applications. The eBOX621-831-FL supports a low power Intel Atom N270 processor 1.60 GHz with the Intel 945GSE and ICH7M chipsets. One 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM socket supports up to 2GB system memory. Its front-accessible CompactFlash slot is very convenient for configuration and maintenance. Certification with CE marking, the fanless eBOX621-831-FL is equipped with a unique thermal design to ensure reliable operation in critical environments at temperature from -10°C to +50°C. The power-optimized Atom-based embedded computer is ideal for automation, digital signage, industrial controller, home automation, and gaming industry.

“Our eBOX621-831-FL super light embedded box computer built with the Intel Atom processor N270 is a high C/P value solution for customers who are seeking performance, graphics and low-power advantages in a small footprint,” said Ray Chang, Product Manager of Applied Computing & Network Device Business Unit at Axiomtek. “Its friendly fanless design increases reliability, extends MTTR, and ultimately reduces maintenance efforts. Enclosed in a small rugged aluminum housing (200 x 120 x 56 mm), the eBOX621-831-FL can easily fit into different space-limited and harsh environments. To fulfill different application needs, the embedded box platform supports a 9 to 34 voltage wide-range DC power input and comes with complete expandability.”

The eBOX621-831-FL has powerful storage interfaces including a 2.5in SATA hard drive and a front-accessible CompactFlash slot. This all-in-one box computer also features rich I/O connections on one side of the housing, including four USB 2.0 ports, three COM ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, VGA, and audio. Additionally, the fanless embedded box computer supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux. For flexible installation, the eBOX621-831-FL can be din-rail-mounted, wall-mounted, VESA-mounted or stand-mounted. Moreover, it has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error.
