EMCOR Group (UK)
: 14 December, 2009  (Application Story)
EMCOR Group will supply facilities management and maintenance services for the medical unit at the Kirtland Air Force base in New Mexico
The EMCOR Government Services unit has received a facilities and maintenance contract from the Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB) Medical Clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

EMCOR Government Services’ (EGS) scope of work includes full service facilities operations, scheduled and corrective maintenance, and repairs for the Medical Clinic, which includes two buildings, totalling 121,000 square feet. EGS will also be responsible for performing minor facilities alteration services, as requested.

The facilities house the 377th Medical Group, and provide daily operational medical support to the 377th Air Base Wing, and over 100 associate organizations. The Medical Group and Clinic also provides primary health care to patients assigned to Kirtland AFB clinic, and temporary duty personnel; primary and specialty care is also provided on a space-available basis to other eligible beneficiaries.

“It’s our pleasure and EGS always takes great pride in providing our best-in-class services to the United States Government,” stated Michael Shelton, President, EMCOR Government Services. “We look forward to working on this project for Kirtland Air Force Base and are dedicated to providing services to these sophisticated facilities, ensuring they are efficient, safe, healthy, and comfortable environments in which to work, visit, and get well.”
