The launch of the FAC Homeland Security Division heralds a major new initiative with international capability designed to be unique within its sphere of operation and of world class quality.
'Big Challenges such as terrorism cannot be solved unless we involve the people of this country' - Gordon Brown Prime Minister June 2007

Commenting on the launch, John Baker, Head of Operations, Homeland Security Division of FAC, 'The threats that we face today will be with us for many decades to come. However FAC has the capability and the desire to make a real difference in addressing key issues associated with this new order.

'Through the new division it will proactively respond to the anticipated growth in the sector over the next decade and play its part in maintaining members' strategic position globally as a hub for innovation, technological development and the delivery of quality products or services.'

Ross Bradley, Chief Executive for FAC added, 'FAC has developed a reputation for supporting the key issues in the aviation and defence sectors. It strives to identify solutions that will enable forms to respond to market needs. In the current environment it is difficult to identify a threat greater that that associated with ideological terrorism. Our armed forces are engaged in two major wars where it is absolutely essential that industry delivers the required technologies to our frontline troops as quickly as possible, whilst at the same time ensuring we have adequate capabilities to counter terrorism within our own Islands. FAC is pleased to support the launch of this essential new sector, led by John Baker.'
