Geospatial consultancy shares its thoughts, experiences and insight through a new blog created by the company
Envitia has recently launched a blog site where interesting articles, news items and thoughts are being posted. The company is engaged in a varied range of professional and consultative roles across numerous applications in the geospatial industry, and are taking the opportunity to publish some of their thoughts and experiences through this blog.

Latest posts include a review of Envitia’s participation in OGC Web Service initiatives, our experience at a Emergency Services show in London and the recent visit to our offices by Rt Hon Francis Maude. Other exciting posts on crowd sourcing and thoughts on the future of the geospatial industry already make this an interesting and thought provoking site.

Dr Sharon Cooper, Marketing Director at Envitia explained, ‘This is just one of a number of new initiatives we are undertaking to share our knowledge and experiences with the wider community. We hope to get constructive and stimulating feedback from both users and GI professionals. We are also initiating a number of customer surveys and reports on various aspects of the exploitation of geospatial data.’
