Enviro Tech Europe
: 11 June, 2007  (Company News)
A joint venture between Achor Limited and Enviro Tech Europe Limited has resulted in a specialist product, EnSolv FLC, for aircraft fuel and tank cleaning.
Achor specialise in detection and control of microbial contamination and Enviro Tech specialise in all aspects of degreasing, using their EnSolv product range which is approved by Boeing and Airbus.

The unique EnSolv FLC formulation dissolves oil residues and sludges formed by microbial growth and inhibits re-colonisation in fuel systems for aircraft, trains and other military and public vehicles. It is designed to meet the increasingly recognised threat to performance and safety and corrosive attack due to microorganisms contaminating all aspects of aircraft, fuel structure and electronic systems.

Simple to use, EnSolv FLC is non acidic and non corrosive, is fast drying and compatible with most metals and plastics, including Titanium.

New EnSolv FLC will be introduced at Paris Air Show from June 18th 2007 at Hall 4 Stand G13.

The need and specification was determined based on research by Dr Eddy Weir MBE, FSEE, FIDiag.E into the extent and effects of contamination of aviation and defence electronics and a collaborative research with Chris Barry C.Biol, MIBiol into the interaction of microorganisms in corrosive processes and their growth and safe elimination in engineered systems and in aviation and fuel oils.

Commenting on a unique development, Chris Barry, Managing Director of Achor Limited and a qualified Microbiologist said ' These are very specialised areas and it takes a great deal of development and co-operation to solve issues around fuel line and tank cleaning in areas like aerospace. We were delighted to have Enviro Tech as our key partner, having as they do the ability to provide this quality brand that has been long awaited. We anticipate huge interest in the ability of EnSolv FLC and are delighted to see our work come to fruition'
