Both the barracks and the chapel will be designed and built to meet the requirements for a LEED Accredited Silver Facility.

Keith Chanter, CEO of EMCOR Group (UK) commented: “EMCOR Group (UK) has a strong track record in providing both engineering services and facilities management to the UK defence sector, and the award of this new contract for the United States Army serves to underline the strength of EMCOR’s capability in defence. EMCOR continues to build on our reputation, focusing on safety, quality and innovation to ensure we remain the best in the industry.”

'As one of the Midwest's premier, full service mechanical contractors, Central Mechanical is proud to have been selected to provide the Fort Leavenworth barracks and chapel the quality mechanical systems that it requires,' stated John Lonker, President of Central Mechanical Construction.
