Global engineering group, Cavotec MSL, has announced that it has become a Strategic Partner with the International Air Transport Association, (IATA).
“Cavotec has designed and manufactured practical solutions to improve efficiency at the world’s airports for forty years now, work we look forward to continuing to develop with IATA,” says Ottonel Popesco, Cavotec CEO.

Cavotec supplies airports around the globe with specialised systems such as pop-up pits that provide aircraft with power, water and pre-conditioned air. Cavotec’s product range also includes motorised cable reel trolleys, gate bridge cable coils, power connectors, tow bars, spring-driven cable reels, radio remote controls and security systems.

IATA’s mission is to represent, lead and serve the airline industry. Its members comprise some 240 airlines – the world’s leading passenger and cargo airlines among them – representing 94 percent of scheduled international traffic.

The association is the primary industry forum through which Member airlines and their Partners develop global aviation standards.

IATA Strategic Partners are suppliers and service providers of the air transport industry who, as members of IATA Strategic Partnerships, interact with IATA and Member airlines in the development of industry solutions.
