Tampa, Fla., September 20, 2006 – (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – The Boeing Company recently recognized CAE USA with its Outstanding Supplier Award at Boeing's fifth annual Supplier Conference held in St. Louis, Missouri.
CAE was recognized for outstanding responsiveness and support during development of new business opportunities as well for execution of ongoing efforts. In August, CAE was awarded a subcontract from Boeing to begin design and development of upgrades and new training devices for the U.S. Air Force C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP). CAE has also supported Boeing in pursuing other new business opportunities.

'We are continually looking to deploy best practices throughout our supply chain, and suppliers such as CAE truly understand the partnering approach that ultimately benefits our mutual customers,' said Rick Suhre, manager, supplier management and procurement, Boeing Training Systems and Services.

More than 100 suppliers were on-hand at Boeing's Supplier Conference, where Boeing highlighted initiatives related to supplier quality, requirements management, and performance expectations.

'Boeing and CAE have an excellent working relationship, and we're honored to be recognized as an outstanding supplier,' said John Lenyo, President and General Manager, CAE USA. 'One of CAE's strategic priorities is to establish a strong relationship with key prime contractors and this recognition demonstrates that CAE is an ideal partner for simulation, training, and mission rehearsal requirements.'
