AgustaWestland Helicopters
: 22 March, 2007  (Company News)
AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that Heliflite Pty Ltd of Australia has signed a contract for eight new helicopters, including the AW119 Ke light single, the A109 Power, the Grand light twin and the AW139 medium twin. This contract is part of the framework of the existing multi-year contract and distribution agreement between AgustaWestland and Heliflite.
Heliflite, based at Bankstown Airport, is a long established company providing a complete Helicopter service to customers, including sales, servicing, spare parts and pilot training. The Australian Helicopter industry has relied upon Heliflite for the past three decades and it is now expanding its Helicopter range which now includes the state-of-the-art single-engine AW119 Ke through to the 6.4 ton 15-seat AW139, which is the world's best selling medium twin-engine Helicopter on the market today. Additionally Heliflite is responsible for selling and supporting the A109 Power and the recently introduced Grand, both of which are achieving growing sales success in the light twin market in Australia and worldwide.

Heliflite is also the AgustaWestland Authorized Service Centre in Australia. Heliflite is now expanding its support services for AgustaWestland Helicopter operators in Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand with the establishment of service centres in Brisbane, Australia, and in Auckland, New Zealand, which will add to the existing one located at Bankstone Airport. This network of service centres will assure the complete support for the full range of AgustaWestland commercial helicopters.
