: 15 June, 2009  (Company News)
The North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) – the UK aerospace industry’s flagship organisation representing some 750 member companies and stakeholders, and the model for industry-led organisations throughout Europe – has added its support to this year’s inaugural AeroEngineering 09 Strategic Business Summit in Manchester on November 10 & 11 by becoming a collaborative partner with the event.
The move reflects the NWAA’s host-region status to AeroEngineering and shows how the Alliance is highly supportive of this new focused bi-annual initiative to bring together the nationwide Aerospace engineering community around a core ‘business’ agenda, as NWAA Chairman, Neil Mckay comments:

“We are pleased to be associated with AeroEngineering 2009, which will help us to highlight the local engineering expertise of our region as well as attract international future aircraft programme management to our important region. The event will provide a much needed procurement, networking and engineering-centric showcase.”

Aimed at aerospace business leaders and supply chain professionals, AeroEngineering combines two high level strategic business summits covering next generation aircraft and power plant programme opportunities, related technology challenges, plus aerospace recruitment and workforce development, together with a packed exhibition hall showcasing 100 or so specialist suppliers and partners. There will also be a free to attend programme of presentations on latest supplier technologies.
