Aero Tec Laboratories
: 19 January, 2008  (New Product)
Aero Tec Laboratories, Inc. (ATL) of Ramsey, N.J. has developed a new Shrapnel & Blast Resistant Fuel Tank to provide defense and security vehicles with protection against IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices).
ATL’s new Shrapnel-Resistant Fuel tank Process adds multiple layers of Kevlar® aramid fabrics and proprietary elastomer coatings to any OEM Fuel Tank. This new “Bunkerizing” process has been developed to help prevent fires and explosions in vehicles used by the U.S. Military, Secret Service, C.I.A., State & Local Law Enforcement Agencies, Heads of State and Corporate Executives.

Specific vehicle applications for ATL’s “Bunkerized” Tanks include Hummers, Suburbans, Land Cruisers, Tacomas, Limousines, Town Cars, Convoy Trucks, and diplomatic fleet vehicles.

As the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of self-sealing, non-exploding ballistic tanks, ATL is well-positioned to produce and distribute the all-new “Bunkerized” Fuel tank System.
