The aerospace award 2008 of Aeronautical Association and Astronautics of France was decreed to Alain Picard, directing technical certification to the DGT.
Graduate of the higher national School of aeronautics, Alain Picard begins his career at Dassault Aviation with the Flight tests in Istres. He is named there engineer of tests, then responsible for civil programs (Falcon 50, Falcon 900) and soldiers (ATL 1, Mirage 2000). In 1995, it joined the DGT and becomes deputy manager with the technical director systems at Mérignac, then in Saint-Cloud. In 2000, it takes the head of the new technical Falcon direction. Since 2005, it directs the technical direction certification, where it is particularly implied in the certification of Falcon 7X, obtained in April 2007.

This price has rewarded the participation for Alain Picard in the development of aeronautics and mainly in the saga of the Falcon family for almost forty years.

The general direction congratulates Alain Picard who will receive his award during a ceremony organized with the “l'Aéro-Club de France” next 4th December.
