$30 Million Task Order by U.S. Army Director of Information Management

Company to provide enterprise information technology solutions in support of Fort Polk and The Joint Readiness Training Center


Science Applications International Corporation has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Army's Director of Information Management (DOIM) at Fort Polk, La., to provide a variety of information technology (IT) and network support services.

The task order has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $30 million if all options are exercised. The task order was awarded under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services contract. Work will be performed primarily at Fort Polk.

Fort Polk's DOIM provides the installation with telephone and data infrastructure support including network management and security, help desk services, web services and training. Under the contract, SAIC will support the DOIM by delivering a wide range of IT support including information assurance; automation and network support; and telephone, wireless and data communications services. Fort Polk is home to The Joint Readiness Training Center, which helps improve military readiness by providing realistic combined arms training.
