General Dynamics - Ammunition Demilitarization Contract

The U.S. Army Field Support Command at Rock Island, Ill., has awarded General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, a $7.9 million modification to an existing demilitarization contract. This latest award for the demilitarization of obsolete and excess ammunition brings the total contract value to date to $80 million.

General Dynamics - Reactive Armour fot Bradley Fighting Vehicle

General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, a business unit of General Dynamics, has been awarded a $107.7 million contract option from the U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny (Picatinny, N.J.) for reactive armor production for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. This option is part of a July 2006 contract and brings the total value to $237 million.

General Dynamics - Frigate Repair Contract

General Dynamics NASSCO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy to provide maintenance and emergent repair services for San Diego-based frigates. The total potential value of the contract if all options are exercised is approximately $75 million for work to be performed between now and 2012.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, was recently awarded $15 million for Hi-G 4-Axis Control Actuator Systems as part of its continuing support of Raytheon's Excalibur (XM982) Block 1a production program. Sunnex - Provision of Lighting in US Army Fighting Vehicles

Sunnex has announced that its Sunnex HS Series will be used by the United States Army to provide task lighting in HMMWVs and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The U.S. Army will install nearly 1,400 HS lamps in these vehicles, which provide protected battlefield transport for infantry squads. In Sweden the HS Series is military mounted in submarines, Combat Boat 90 and Combat Vehicle 9040.
