AgustaWestland is pleased to announce the appointment of OSS Air as its designated Service Centre for its commercial range of helicopters. Additionally OSS Air will co-ordinate all commercial sales and marketing activities in India for Sharp Ocean of Hong Kong who have a distribution agreement for AgustaWestland commercial helicopters in India, Sri Lanka and The Maldives. |

Since the first AgustaWestland helicopter, an A109 Power, was delivered to the Government of Rajasthan in 2005 AgustaWestland has seen sales of it modern range of commercial helicopters take-off in India. In 2006 a total of seven helicopters were delivered and at least four more will be delivered in 2007, including the first examples of the Grand and AW139. This continued success is establishing AgustaWestland as a leading supplier of civil helicopters to the growing Indian market and it is forecasting it will deliver at least another 12 helicopters to customers in India during 2008-2009. |

The Boeing Company today announced it has concluded its purchase of C-Map, a leading provider of digital maritime cartography, data services and other navigational information. C-Map will become a part of Jeppesen's marine division. Jeppesen is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. |

L-3 Communications today announced that its Link Simulation and Training (L-3 Link) division has received a $40.9 million contract from armasuisse to build and deliver four networked F/A-18C Tactical Operational Flight Trainers (TOFTs) for the Swiss F/A-18 Flight Simulator Upgrade program. The F/A-18C TOFTs and related training system equipment are slated to begin delivery to Payerne Air Force Base in the latter part of 2008 and will be ready for training in 2009. |

Eurocopter signed a significant contract with the French Gendarmerie for the acquisition of 37 EC135 (12 firm orders and 25 options) valued at €233 million. These EC135, which will be used for police missions, will replace the single-engine Ecureuil B, BA and B1 that the French Gendarmerie has been operating since 1980. The first helicopters will be delivered during the last quarter of 2008. |
