AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that Sloane Helicopters Ltd, within the framework of the multi-year contract and distribution agreement signed in February 2006 for the acquisition of a minimum of 44 helicopters, has firmed up orders for the acquisition of 13 helicopters to be delivered through to the end of 2010. AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) has awarded a contract for two AW139 medium-twin helicopters to perform fire-fighting missions in the city-related area. These are the first AW139 aircraft to be purchased by the LAFD and such selection also marks the beginning of the AW139's deployment as a fire-fighter worldwide. This new role follows a wide range of parapublic tasks among which search and rescue, emergency medical service and law enforcement.

Agusta Westland - Contract With Synergy Aerospace

AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that Synergy Aerospace, a division of Synergy Group, has firmed up orders for the acquisition of ten helicopters including AW119 Ke, A109 Power, Grand and AW139 helicopters which will be delivered through the end of 2009. This latest contract is part of the framework of the multi-year contract and distribution agreement signed in July 2006 which agreed the acquisition of 56 helicopters. This latest order is additional to the eight helicopters already ordered by Synergy Aerospace last year.

Agusta Westland - London Air Services Purchases Third AW139

AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that London Air Services has signed a contract for a third AW139 helicopter having already ordered two AW139s, the first of which was delivered in early 2006. The additional VIP configured helicopters will complement their current air charter fleet that utilizes various business jets and their first AW139.

CAE - New Simulator Contracts

CAE today announced a series of product and service contracts valued at C$109 million. The contracts are with Japan Airlines for two Boeing 787 simulators, with AgustaWestland for an EH101 full crew mission simulator, with the German Armed Forces for maintenance and support services and with the United States Navy for the training of C-40A pilots and crew chiefs at CAE's Dallas training centre.

QinetiQ Group plc announces today that QinetiQ North America Operations LLC has agreed to purchase ITS Corporation ('ITS'), a leading provider of IT services and solutions to the US government and its agencies, for up to $90.0m. QinetiQ has also sold its Aerospace Filtration Systems, Inc. subsidiary ('AFS') to Donaldson, Inc. for $39.0m. QinetiQ - Contract For Guided Munition Technology ImpaQt Shells

QinetiQ, as UK prime contractor for Team ImpaQt, has just secured a £5m contract for a 30 month long Output 6 research programme into 155mm Guided Munition (GM) technology.
