Agusta Westland - London Air Services Purchases Third AW139

AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that London Air Services has signed a contract for a third AW139 helicopter having already ordered two AW139s, the first of which was delivered in early 2006. The additional VIP configured helicopters will complement their current air charter fleet that utilizes various business jets and their first AW139.


The second AW139 for London Air Services is being assembled in Italy while the third helicopter will be produced at AgustaWestland's all new, high tech production facility located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. London Air Services Flight Crews and Maintenance Technicians will receive training at AgustaWestland's Philadelphia facility using a new, state-of-the-art Cockpit Procedures Trainer and AW139 Flight Simulator that is certified to FAA Level 'D' standards.

AgustaWestland Philadelphia is responsibility for the sales, assembly, customization and support of the A109 Power, Grand, AW139 and AW119 Ke product lines throughout the Americas.
